삼성SDS가 2일 잠실캠퍼스에서 미디어데이를 열고, 생성형 AI 서비스인 FabriX(패브릭스)와 Brity Copilot(브리티 코파일럿)의 본격적인 출시를 선언했다.
이날 삼성SDS는 △생성형 AI 서비스 플랫폼 FabriX △메일/미팅/메신저/ 문서관리 등 협업 솔루션에 생성형 AI를 활용하는 Brity Copilot △RPA/BPA 등 자동화 솔루션에 생성형 AI 기능을 더한 Brity Automation(브리티 오토메이션) 등을 기업에 맞춤형으로 제공하겠다는 ‘삼성SDS 생성형 AI 서비스 사업 전략’을 발표했다.
황성우 대표이사(사장)는 “FabriX와 Brity Copilot의 정식 출시로 기업 업무의 하이퍼오토메이션(Hyper-automation)을 돕겠다”는 포부를 밝히며 “삼성 스마트폰, TV, 가전 분야에서 소비자들을 만족시켰던 AI 혁신에 이어 기업에서도 생성형 AI 서비스 혁신이 시작됐다”고 강조했다.
이어 황 대표는 “가까운 미래에 삼성SDS는 모든 서비스와 솔루션에서 Copilot을 제공하게 될 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
◇ 공통 협업업무를 생성형 AI로 자동화하는 솔루션 ‘Brity Copilot’
Brity Copilot은 회사 업무를 하면서 가장 빈번하게 사용하는 메일, 메신저, 미팅, 문서관리 등 기업의 공통 업무를 지원하는 협업 솔루션 ‘Brity Works(브리티 웍스)’에 생성형 AI 기술을 적용한 서비스다.
Brity Copilot을 활용하면 △영상회의 중 발표자의 음성을 인식해 실시간 자막(한/영) 및 번역(13개 언어 가능) △회의 전체 내용의 자막 스크립트 제공 △회의록 작성 및 실행 방안(Action Item) 도출 △메일/메신저 대화 요약 △메일 초안 작성 등 다양한 업무를 효율화할 수 있다.
특히, 한국어 음성의 높은 인식 정확도(94%)와 실시간 번역 기능으로 전문 통역사 없이도 더욱 명확한 커뮤니케이션이 가능해서, 글로벌 비즈니스를 하는 기업에 특히 유용할 것으로 기대된다.
Brity Copilot은 기업이 원하는 다양한 LLM(거대언어모델)과 연계할 수 있고 보안이 필요한 고객을 위한 프라이빗 클라우드 환경도 지원한다.
삼성SDS는 사내 임직원 만여 명을 대상으로 시범 서비스를 오픈해 실제 업무에 Brity Copilot을 활용하고 있으며, 회의록을 작성하는 시간은 75% 이상, 메일 작성 시 내용 요약 및 초안 작성에 걸리던 시간은 66% 이상 절감됐다고 밝혔다.
실제 현장에서 필요한 개선 아이디어도 추가로 발굴해서 서비스에 반영하고, 워드/엑셀/파워포인트 등에서도 Brity Copilot을 활용할 수 있도록 기능을 확장해 나갈 계획이다.
또한 삼성SDS는 이날 Brity Automation(브리티 오토메이션)을 공개하고, Brity Copilot과 Automation이 유기적으로 연계되는 데모도 선보였다.
Brity Automation은 RPA/BPA 등 업무 프로세스 자동화 솔루션에 생성형 AI 서비스를 결합해 복잡한 기업 업무의 모든 과정을 자동화하는 하이퍼오토메이션 솔루션이다.
주로 단순하고 반복적인 단위 업무를 자동화하던 기존 방식에서 발전해, 자연어 대화 방식을 통해 여러 핵심 시스템에 걸친 복잡한 업무 프로세스를 사람과 AI가 협업해 해결하는 새로운 방식의 업무 자동화 구현이 가능해진다.

◇ 기존 정보와 시스템을 생성형 AI와 원스톱으로 연결하는 ‘FabriX’
FabriX는 기업의 다양한 데이터와 지식자산, 업무시스템 등 IT 자원을 생성형 AI와 연결하고, 임직원들이 손쉽게 공유하고 사용할 수 있도록 지원하는 클라우드 기반의 기업용 생성형 AI 서비스 플랫폼이다.
FabriX는 기업 맞춤 LLM을 통해 업종 특화 용어나 데이터를 학습하고, 영업/구매/물류/경영지원 등 기업이 이미 사용하던 핵심 업무시스템에 Copilot을 구현하는 형태로 서비스 적용이 가능하다. 임직원은 Chat 서비스를 통해 업무 관련 내용을 대화 방식으로 질문하고, FabriX가 기업 내·외부 데이터를 활용해 정확도 높은 답변을 제공한다.
또한 보안 걱정 없이 생성형 AI를 활용할 수 있도록 삼성 클라우드 플랫폼(SCP)을 기반으로 키워드 필터링, 데이터 및 사용자 권한 관리 등의 보안체계를 통해 강력한 데이터 보안을 구현했다.
삼성SDS는 FabriX를 통해 △기업의 특성에 맞는 LLM은 없을까 △빠르게 변화하는 생성형 AI 기술을 쉽게 적용할 수는 없을까 △GPU 서비스 비용을 줄일 수는 없을까 등 생성형 AI 서비스를 도입하려는 기업의 고민을 단번에 해결할 수 있다고 강조했다.

Organizations around the world use updated land-cover maps to inform policy and land management decisions around issues like sustainable development. The update has occurred every year since 2017. Year-over-year changes in the maps can be key indicators that help analysts and decision-makers better understand the impacts of earth processes and human activity on the environment. This in turn can inform sustainable land management policies.
“Users have the option to make year-over-year comparisons in global land cover today and into the future,” said Sean Breyer, Esri program manager for ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World. “Organizations like national government resource agencies often must use this data to define land-planning priorities and determine budget allocations. With the Sentinel-2 annual updates, governments, businesses, and scientists can now more reliably make these data comparisons.”
Last year, Esri released the Sentinel-2 Land Cover Explorer, a dynamic, ready-to-use online application that allows anyone anywhere to easily observe change on these high-resolution global land cover maps. Along with the 2023 content update, enhancements have been added to the Sentinel-2 Land Cover Explorer map panel, including:
· Users can click the 1:1 button to zoom full resolution of a map at the location of interest.
· Users can click the camera button to quickly create high-resolution screen captures.
· A link button allows users to click and copy a link to the app in its current state to easily share what they are seeing.
· In animation mode, users can download MP4 videos in a variety of aspect ratios and resolutions depending on where and how they want to share animations.
Esri developed its Sentinel-2 10-Meter Land Use/Land Cover Time Series with European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel-2 imagery hosted on the Microsoft Planetary Computer and with machine learning workflows developed by Esri Silver Partner Impact Observatory.
